About Castle Comfort

Castle Comfort hugs the coast just south of Roseau, where the seabed drops quickly into the dive sites that have made Dominica a renowned scuba and whale-watching destination. Dive lodges line the shore alongside local homes, and the waterfalls and rainforest of the Morne Trois Pitons park rise just inland, giving the area a tranquil, nature-driven character close to the capital. The cautions are familiar for Dominica: a small, illiquid market, reliance on nature tourism, and hurricane exposure, brought home by the severe damage of Hurricane Maria in 2017.
