About West End

West End is Roatán's most characterful village: a single sandy main street of dive shops, cafés, bars, and guesthouses that has become the island's expat and digital-nomad nucleus. It ranks second only to West Bay in buyer demand and is prized for its walkability, community feel, and steady year-round rental base from longer-stay visitors and remote workers. For investors it offers a balance of cash flow and appreciation. Ocean-view condos and village homes typically generate 7-8% gross yields with strong short- and mid-term demand, and values have grown 5-8% annually. Entry condos start near US$200,000, with ocean-view units and small boutique homes ranging into the US$400,000s. The walkable layout lowers management friction for owners running vacation rentals.
