Villa Country is an affluent northern enclave of Barranquilla: newer high-rise developments with premium amenities, pools, gyms, security, blending luxury homes and towers around the Centro Comercial Villa Country (and its landmark fountain) and the nearby Centro Comercial Buenavista. Family- and expat-friendly, it is among the city's most comfortable upscale addresses. For investors, Villa Country is an amenity-led family-rental play: strong demand from affluent families and expats supports solid appreciation (~10–13%/yr), with prime prices compressing gross yields to ~4.5–5.5%.
